With Digital Cinema Auto Calibration (D.C.A.C), audio performance is automatically calibrated according to the shape, size and construction of your room. Simply place the supplied calibration microphone at your usual listening spot, position the speakers and connect them to the receiver to activate D.C.A.C.

24P True Cinema

Movies at the cinema have a distinctive silver-screen quality because theyre filmed at a rate of 24 frames per second (fps). But since most other DVD players convert 24fps movies to fit the NTSC (equivalent to 60fps) or PAL (equivalent to 50fps) formats, you couldnt truly recreate that cinema experience at home until now! 24P True Cinema outputs movies in 24fps just as the director intended them to be seen so the thrill you enjoy in theatres can now be yours right in your own home.

 

 

Linear PCM Compatibility

Linear PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) is the highest-quality audio option available on the Blu-ray Disc format. Sony Blu-ray Home Theatre Systems accept uncompressed Linear PCM high-resolution audio via HDMI Repeater inputs, enabling them to make the most of the enhanced sound quality that goes hand-in-hand with superb video on Blu-ray Disc.

 

 

x.v.Colour Technology

The international standard for video signals, x.v.Colour defines a far wider colour space than conventional sRGB, which can only display a small portion of what the human eye can perceive. In fact, x.v.Colour can display virtually the entire colour palette, supporting 1.8 times the colour coverage of existing HD TV signals.
