INT SCSI 150-390GB AIT-3EX BACKUP KIT AITI390
AIT-3Ex is Sony's latest addition to the AIT family. The new format replaces AIT-3 offering upgrades in terms of capacity and speed. Like the AIT Turbo range, AIT-3Ex is another example of Sony improving on it's existing formats.
AIT-3Ex holds an uncompressed capacity of 150GB (up to 390GB compressed) compared to 100GB (260GB compressed) of AIT-3. Read/Write transfer rate is 18MB/s (on AIT-3Ex media) compared to 12MB/s for AIT-3. Buffer size has also been improved to 96MB from AIT-3's 32MB ensuring error free backups. All these upgrades for the same price as AIT-3!!
AIT-3Ex drives use an Ultra160 SCSI interface and this accessorised kit comes supplied with a SCSI cable, terminator, 1 x AIT-3Ex tape, 1 x Cleaning Tape, interchangeable beige or black faceplates.
