To ensure that dust and debris does not accumulate and clog internal connectors which could lead to damage, each bay is equipped with a spring-loaded dust cover. Installing a drive is simple, just press the drive in and the dust cover will tuck away into the enclosure.

The drive door not only prevents dust from entering, but it also works as a drive guiding mechanism. When inserting the drive, it pushes the door inward to become paralleled with the metal side panel. This provides better drive stability and compatibility for different drive heights, and absorbs vibration caused by mechanical hard disk drives. |

There is an LED drive indicator light in each bay to notify you of any drive activity. The soft blue LED is easy to see but not too bright for dark environments. |

The flexiDOCK MB830SP-B supports SATA data and power cables with locking latch designs. It comes with three locking latch SATA data cables. Once these cables are connected, they will lock into place and stay there, protecting against accidental disconnection. |

Only two power cables are needed to power all three drives, which reduces cable clutter. This not only improves aesthetics, but also improves airflow within your computer, further reducing temperatures of critical components. |
