Power and Charging: Supports bus powered operation from host USB port and self-powered operation via USB-C PD power adapter connected to USB-C PD input port.
No external power adapter required for basic operation. Laptop charging not available without connection of a USB PD power adapter, and power available to connected peripherals will be limited.
Dock supports USB PD power adapters up to 100W in size to enable pass-through charging of host. Dock reserves 15W to power itself and connected accessories; 85W of power is available for host charging when a 100W power adapter is connected.
Host Compatibility: Windows, ChromeOS, macOS (single video output only on Mac)
Requires laptop USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode support for video output. DP 1.4 Alt Mode host with MST and DSC recommended for triple 4K output. Compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and 4 and USB4 hosts.
