The HP Z420 Front Memory Duct is available to add to any configuration for improved system cooling, but is required for 4 x 8GB and 8 x 8GB memory configurations and for configurations including the HP Liquid Cooling Solution thermal kit. It can only be installed on the HP Z420 Workstation.
