The Redpark USB-C Gigabit + PoE Adapter is the first ethernet + PoE adapter designed specifically for USB-C iPads. The adapter connects USB-C iPads to ethernet and uses power over ethernet (PoE+) to charge the iPad. This enables an iPad to receive both data and power over a single Ethernet cable when connected to a PoE+ enabled switch or a PoE+ injector.

When connected to an iPad the adapter is instantly recognized as a network connection. The ethernet connection can be configured using the Settings app on the iPad.

The adapter physically connects to the iPad using a USB-C to USB-C cable (sold separately). It supports 10/100/1000 networking and provides bandwidth up to 900Mbps.
