The CLOSE-UP is free from distance or magnification while macro-zoom lenses are subject of restriction.
Can be used in all zooming area. Magnification changes by zooming and focusing.

The +1/+2 are recommendable for lens with the focal distance over 100mm to avoid that focusing area may become narrow.
