Welcome to Techbuy On-Site Service

On-site service is now available from Techbuy.

Servicing and configuration of all of your business, home-business and home computer problems and upgrades can be handled in the comfort of your office or home by our experienced technicians.

We can service and support existing installations of computers, networks, Internet connections and provide experienced technical support even if you have not purchased equipment from Techbuy.

If you do not feel comfortable or do not have the time to install the equipment you have purchased you can have it installed by a Techbuy service technician.

Put an end to leaving your computer for one or more days at a service center, we can come to you and in most cases fix the problems on the spot.

If you have previously purchased hardware or software and would like to organise installation first consult the pricing and charges section for callout fee guidelines and then;

  • Order online and we will contact you via phone for full details and to organise a booking.
  • Alternatively fill in the service request form below and we will contact you to confirm your booking.

Callout area is defined by 30 minute travel time on Google maps from our office location at 103 Beaconsfield Street Silverwater. We offer to waive the callout fee for businesses in the Sydney metro area(defined by 15km minimum suggested route from Sydney CBD according to google maps) on their first callout, once you have had a taste of our quality service we think you will be back for more.

Our home services are covered by a three hour maximum charge (plus call out if applicable) to give you peace of mind and keep your bill low even when you have complex, time consuming problems. You will also be covered by our "no fix, no charge" guarantee, that is if we can't fix it or locate the problem then you are under no obligation to pay us a cent!

Q: What happens when I book a technician to visit me at my house?

A: When you book a service job our office staff will contact you to confirm the time, date and nature of your problem, depending on your specific problem this may be handled by one of our service technicians.

Once the technician arrives at your location the first 15-30 minutes of a new call out will consist of locating the problem and notifying the user of solutions to rectify the problem and steps that can be taken to stop the same issues recurring in the future.

After the problem has been diagnosed the technician will give you a rough estimate of how long the solution will take to implement and any additional hardware or software products that may be required.

For example if you have viruses the technician can remove them but will recommend that you also install or upgrade your virus protection software.

A: How is payment handled?

Q: Once the technician has resolved your problems, you will either need to pay in cash before he departs or you can contact our customer care center to have your credit card processed to settle your bill. A tax invoice for your records will be emailed to your nominated address.

Q: Do Techbuy technicians travel with a full inventory of common computer parts and software?

A: While we cannot plan for every contingency our technicians do carry a wide variety of parts, peripherals and software in their vans. A parts list is available at your request, in addition if you do require any additional products please order online prior to booking your service job and we can deliver your order at the same time as servicing your computer, saving you the delivery charges.
